Powerhouse Church, Aminjikarai, Chennai ("Powerhouse," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website powerhousechurch.in ("the Site"). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit or use the Site, why we collect it, and the choices you have — including for visitors joining us from outside India.
Information you give us directly — when you use our Contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), the topic you choose, how you heard about us (if you tell us), and the message you send. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and, in anonymous totals, to understand how people find our church. Your message is emailed to the church through our form provider, Web3Forms, and stored securely in a private church database hosted by Cloudflare. Only authorised church staff and volunteers can see it.
Information collected automatically — with your consent (see Section 3), we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site: pages viewed, time spent, general location (city/country level), device and browser type. This helps us improve the Site; it does not identify you personally.
YouTube embeds — sermon and worship videos on the Site are embedded from YouTube. When you play one, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
When you first visit the Site, you'll see a banner asking whether you're okay with analytics cookies. If you choose Decline, Google Analytics will not load and no analytics cookies will be set on your device. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for powerhousechurch.in, which will show the banner again on your next visit.
Powerhouse Church has members and friends who join us online from Germany, the United States, Canada, and other countries. If you are visiting from the European Union, United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions with data protection laws (like GDPR), please note: any analytics data is only collected after you actively accept cookies, and is processed by Google on servers that may be located outside your country, under Google's own data protection safeguards. If you are visiting from the United States or Canada, you may have rights to know what information we hold about you and to request it be deleted — see Section 6.
Contact form messages are kept for up to 12 months so we can respond and follow up, and are then deleted automatically. Analytics data (where consented to) is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To do so, email us at [email protected].
We may update this policy from time to time as the Site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
