What to Expect
Yes. Our Sunday service is in English: worship, preaching and announcements. Alongside English worship songs we also sing some Tamil songs and traditional hymns. People from many backgrounds and countries worship with us.
The service starts at 10:00 AM every Sunday and lasts about an hour and a half. We pray together from 9:45 AM, and you're welcome to join that too.
We meet at IID Community College Hall, No. 13, 6th Cross Street, Collectorate Colony, Aminjikarai, Chennai, near Ampa Skywalk Mall and M.R. Hospital.
Whatever you're comfortable in. There's no dress code. Come as you are.
Yes. Children's Church runs at the same time as the main service, with songs, stories and Bible verses for kids.
Contemporary worship led by a live band, the Powerhouse Worship Band, with guitars, keys, drums and vocals. You can listen to the songs we sing on our Worship page.
No. No one will put you on the spot or ask you to stand up. A friendly team will say hello at the door, and you can simply sit back and take part as much or as little as you like.
An evangelical, non-denominational church founded in Chennai in 1996 by Jeyakaran and Kavitha. We're multi-generational and multi-cultural, and everyone is welcome, whatever their background or belief.
